Programs & Services
The Indiana High School Hammer Association is dedicated to uniting coaches and athletes to elevate the hammer throw event in Indiana, showcasing its importance alongside other distinguished throwing events in our state.
How We Support You
Our association provides a wide range of services designed to empower athletes and coaches, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed.
Clinics
Partners host clinics to introduce new hammer throwers to the sport safely.
Networking Opportunities
Partners offer meets in the spring, summer and fall. Beside the competition aspect, it is our hope that the meets facilitate networking events for athletes and coaches to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.
Mentorship Programs
We are always looking for more partners who can provide throwing facilities or start their own throwing club.
Rewarding Excellence
We plan to honor the pioneers of hammer throwing in Indiana by sharing their stories. We also will be compiling top ten lists for all time performances to help motivate the next generation to set their goals high.
Resource Development
We plan to provide resources such as training manuals and video tutorials to help athletes refine their skills.
Advocacy for the Sport
We advocate for the inclusion and recognition of the hammer throw in school athletics and local competitions.
